Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of frosting
- 1 lb of chocolate candy coating
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
- Bake in a 9×13 inch pan for 30 minutes.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
- Add the frosting and mix until combined.
- Form into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Freeze for 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate candy coating in a microwave.
- Dip the end of a lollipop stick in the melted chocolate, then insert it into a cake ball.
- Dip the entire cake pop into the chocolate coating and let excess drip off.
- Decorate with sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
Notes
- Use different colors of chocolate for variety.
- Store in a cool place to maintain shape.
- These can be made a day ahead.
