- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce
- Tomato slices
- Onion slices
Instructions
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape mixture into four patties.
- Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until done.
- Add cheese slices on top of patties for the last minute of cooking.
- Toast burger buns on the grill or skillet.
- Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, and onion.
- Serve hot.
