- 2 slices of whole-grain bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup of whipped cream
- Butter for cooking
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt a little butter.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Place bread in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove from skillet and cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Serve with sliced strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream on top.
Notes
- You can substitute strawberries with any fruit your kids like.
- Use a non-stick skillet for easier cooking.
- Garnish with sprinkles for extra fun.
