Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, garlic paste, ginger paste, salt, and oil.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade and coat well.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat the tandoor or oven to 200°C (400°F).
  5. Cook the chicken for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust spices according to your taste.
  • Serve with naan or rice.
  • For a smoky flavor, use charcoal in the tandoor.
