Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken: 7-Minute Paradise Dish

A simple and flavorful sweet Hawaiian crockpot chicken dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the crockpot.
  2. Add pineapple chunks on top of the chicken.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, and ginger.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken and pineapple.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Shred the chicken in the sauce before serving.
  7. Garnish with green onions.

Notes

  • Serve with rice for a complete meal.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
