- 2 cups of green beans
- 1 cup of sliced almonds
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and trim the green beans.
- In a bowl, toss green beans with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the green beans on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Add sliced almonds and roast for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on the desired level of crispness.
- Substitute almonds with walnuts for a different flavor.
- Can be made ahead and reheated.
