Ingredients

  • 1 lb corned beef, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained

  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Spread Russian dressing on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Layer corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut on half of the bread slices.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices, dressing side down.
  5. Spread butter on the outside of each sandwich.
  6. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cheese melts.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use pastrami as a substitute for corned beef.
  • Drain sauerkraut well to avoid soggy bread.
