- 1 dozen oysters
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Shuck the oysters and reserve the liquor.
- In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the onion and celery and sauté until soft.
- Pour in the oyster liquor and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cream and Worcestershire sauce, stirring well.
- Carefully add the oysters and cook until they curl.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
