Instructions
- Brown the beef in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add beef broth, carrots, potatoes, bay leaves, and thyme.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
