Instructions

  3. In another bowl, beat lard until fluffy, then add masa mixture and chicken broth.
  4. Spread a spoonful of masa on each corn husk.
  5. Add filling and roll the husk tightly.
  6. Place tamales upright in a steamer pot.
  7. Steam for 1 to 1.5 hours, until masa is firm.
