- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Burger buns
- Lettuce and tomato for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mash the chickpeas with a fork.
- Add breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place patties on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers with buns, lettuce, and tomato.
Notes
- These burgers can be made ahead and frozen.
- Serve with your favorite sauce.
- Adjust spices to taste.
