- 2 lbs of chicken breasts
- 1 cup of barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup of onion, chopped
- 1 cup of bell peppers, sliced
- 1 can of black beans, drained
- 1 cup of corn, frozen
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Pour barbecue sauce over the chicken.
- Add chopped onion and sliced bell peppers.
- Add black beans and corn.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Shred the chicken before serving.
Notes
- Serve with tortillas or rice.
- Garnish with cilantro or lime if desired.
