Creamy Tomato Gnocchi with Burrata in Just 30 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) gnocchi
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz/400g) crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 ball (4 oz/115g) burrata cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, dried basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Simmer the sauce for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add cooked gnocchi to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  6. Transfer to serving plates and top with burrata cheese.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh gnocchi for best results.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
