Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup seafood stock
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, celery, and garlic. Sauté until soft.
- Pour in white wine and let it reduce.
- Add seafood stock and bring to a simmer.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink.
- Stir in heavy cream and paprika.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Blend until smooth if desired.
- Serve hot.
