- 1 lb fresh crab meat
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add seafood stock, whisking until smooth.
- Add crab meat and Old Bay seasoning, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
